Sept. 19, 200 Bock of Dolores Street, Burglary and Unlawful Entry
A man called the police when he returned home to find his watches, a digital camera and a cell phone missing from his apartment. There was no sign of forced entry, but the man suspects someone may have a master key to his apartment.
Sept. 19, Between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m., 100 Block of Portola Street, Burglary and Unlawful Entry
The suspect entered the victim’s apartment through the back glass door and stole a laptop, DVDs and jewelry.
Sept. 18, Between 10 p.m. and 7:30 a.m., 300 Block of Noe Street, Burglary and Unlawful Entry
The suspect entered the victim’s apartment through a rear window and stole a television, DVD player and some cash. No arrest has been made.
Sept. 15, Between 12:01 a.m. & 6:30 a.m., 3800 Block of 17th Street, Auto Burglary
A suspect broke in to the front passenger side window of a vehicle and stole some property. No arrest has been made.
Sept. 15, Between 7:00 a.m. & 10:30 p.m., 300 Block of Douglass Street, Burglary
A suspect broke in to a house while the residents were away and stole some property. The means of entry was undetermined.
Sept. 14, 3:45 p.m., 500 Block of Guerrero Street, Auto Burglary
A suspect broke in to the front passenger side window of a vehicle and stole some property.
Sept. 8, 12:50 p.m., 3400 Block of 16th Street, Attempted Burglary
A man was in his home and heard some suspicious noises from one of his windows. Upon investigation the man found a suspect in a fenced in area behind his home. The man called the police and the suspect fled. No arrest has been made.
Sept. 7, 1:24 a.m., 18th & Castro streets, Assault
After a brief verbal altercation, two victims were assaulted by eight to 10 suspects. All the suspects fled the scene. No arrests have been made.
Sept. 6, 12:24 p.m., 18th & Oakwood streets, Possession of a Prohibited Weapon and Impersonating a Police Officer
Two officers observed a man wearing a large amount of police regalia. When the officers approached the suspect, he identified himself as a police officer. Upon a body search the officers found the suspect was carrying an illegal knife. The suspect was arrested.
Aug. 27, 10:30 a.m., Church & Hancock streets, Auto Burglary, Possession of Stolen Property
A witness called the police to report an auto burglary. The victim was contacted and confirmed that some property was stolen. The witness gave a description of the suspect and the suspect’s direction of travel and with this information the police were able to locate the suspect and perform an investigation. The suspect was arrested.
