Oct. 26, 12:21 p.m., Area of 20th and Dolores Streets. Theft from Locked Vehicle.
The officer, while patrolling Dolores Park, was flagged down by the victim. The victim stated he had parked and locked his vehicle on 20th Street the previous night and now returning to his vehicle he found the passenger’s side window shattered with a tool kit and GPS charger stolen. No suspects were apprehended.

Oct. 24, 1:30 a.m., Area of 18th and Dolores Streets. Robbery,
Street with Force.
The victim came into the station and stated that she had been walking home at around 1:30 a.m. that morning on 18th Street near the area of the Dolores Park tennis courts when an unknown male suspect approached her and demanded her purse. The victim stated that out of fear for her safety she handed the suspect her purse, at which time the suspect also grabbed her watch. The suspect fled on foot into the park between the tennis courts and was not apprehended.

Oct. 16, 10:33 p.m., Area of Noe Street. Burglary, Flat, Unlawful
Entry
Officers responded to an audible alarm call. After officers announced their presence with no response, they enter the unlocked front door. Officers found an opened hallway window, which is accessible from the adjoining roof but no evidence of any disturbance. Officers contacted the owner of the home, who was on vacation, verified information with him and were told the hallway window locking mechanism was defective. Officers were able to determine the owner’s laptop was stolen. Officers secured the building. No suspects were apprehended.

Oct. 14, 3:40 p.m., Area of Market Street. Robbery, Bank with
Gun
Officers responded to a silent alarm at a bank. While in route, dispatch confirmed the bank robbery. The manager stated that three suspects ran into the bank, one with a semi-automatic pistol. Two of the suspects ran behind the counter taking the money out of the drawers. All suspects fled on foot. Numerous officers were searching the area tracking the RAT packs that were contained in the stolen currency. All three RAT packs had been discarded by the suspects and were recovered by the officers. CSI responded to the scene. No suspects were apprehended.

Oct. 8, 11:53 p.m., Area of Castro Street. Malicious Mischief,
Breaking Windows
Officers responded to a vandalism call. The witness stated that the suspect came to the business demanding to see his boyfriend. When the suspect was told the boyfriend was not there and the business was closing, the suspect threw rocks at the glass door and then fled getting into a cab. Officers contacted the cab company and found the direction of the cab and then contacted the station in that district and requested officers to check the area for the suspect. No suspects were apprehended.

Oct. 5, 12:28 a.m., Area of 17th Street. Burglary, Hot Prowl,
Unlawful Entry
Officers responded to a burglary call. The victim stated he was home alone when he heard a loud noise, looked out his window and saw the suspect climbing out half way out his bathroom window. The victim stated he ran down his front stairs and thought he could catch the suspect fleeing down the rear exterior staircase. However the suspect fled on a bike with two laptops. Officers searched the area for the suspect with negative results. No suspects were apprehended.
