Animal Attack, Sept. 26, 5 p.m., Duboce Park
Officers on patrol near Duboce Park were flagged down by a woman who told them that her small poodle had just been bitten by another dog. The officers found the offending canine together with her owner.
After contacting Animal Care and Control, officers issued a citation to the owner of the biting dog.
Oct. 7, 3:40 a.m., Park Code Violations, Buena Vista Park
Officers were visiting the district parks enforcing park code violations when they cited fifteen individuals for sleeping in the park. One was booked for outstanding warrants.
Oct. 8, 6:55 a.m., Warrant Arrest, Church and Sanchez Streets
Plainclothes officers were in the above area when they saw an individual they knew from prior contact. The officers were aware that this individual had an outstanding felony warrant. After the officers confirmed the warrant the suspect was transported to jail.
Street Robbery with Force, Oct., 14, 2:18 am; Noe & Henry Streets
An intoxicated man on his way home from a bar was talking on his cell phone when an unknown suspect kicked him in the chest and stole it.
Due to his inebriation he was unable to recall the incident well.
Oct. 15, 5:29 p.m., Robbery Attempt with Force, 4000 Block of 18th Street
Officers responded to the above location to find an alleged attempted robbery suspect fleeing the scene of the crime. A patrol sergeant spotted the suspect and a foot pursuit ensued. The suspect was eventually apprehended.
Several witnesses reported that the suspect entered a business and attempted to open the cash register. When employees intervened, the suspect became physical. Employees removed the suspect from the business and were assaulted before the suspect fled.
Oct. 18, 1:53 a.m., Robbery with Force, 19th at Diamond Streets
Officers responded to a reported street robbery at the listed location. Upon arrival, officers located the victim who told them the suspect knocked her to the ground and took her cell-phone. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect. The victim declined medical assistance.
Sept. 26, 11 p.m., Battery/Domestic Violence Arrest, 1000 Block Fulton St.
Officers from responded to a report of domestic violence. Upon their arrival they noticed that the two combatants had already separated.
The victim told police that he had gotten into a verbal argument with his boyfriend when his boyfriend suddenly attacked him. The victim was punched in the face and choked until he was able to break free from his boyfriend and call the police.
Officers placed the suspect under arrest and carted him off to jail.
Sept. 26, 8:17 a.m., Battery on Muni Bus
A muni passenger complained about an excessively loud phone that another bus passenger was listening to.
This argument became physical and one of the suspects was cited for hitting the other.
