Riding the Rails: Tuesday – Saturdays, 10 a.m.–5 p.m.
A new interactive railroad-themed exhibition exploring how trains have shaped the world we live in. Kids can climb aboard the recently completed scale model of a caboose to discover what it was like to be riding the rails on an old time train. Soon to open is an urban rail exhibit with models of San Francisco landmark buildings where visitors can guide model trains on railroad tracks. Management of Hearing Loss: Thursdays in March, 1:15 p.m.-2:45 p.m. Management of hearing loss and utilizing a hearing aid more effectively improve your communication with others. 28th San Francisco International Asian American Film Festival: March 11-21 at various venues in San Francisco, including the new Viz Cinemas at 1746 Post Street, SF. The Opening Night film on March 11 at Castro Theatre, 429 Castro Street, is “Today’s Special”, a romantic comedy co-written by and starring Aasif Mandvi (The Daily Show).

The 159th Annual San Francisco Saint Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival: Saturday, March 13, 11:30 a.m., corner of Market and 2nd. The St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival celebrates and showcases our Irish community, Irish culture and character in all its forms. Featured groups from throughout the Bay Area’s Irish community including schools, youth organizations, labor unions, cultural groups, as well as the San Francisco Police and Fire Departments in addition to many of our political leaders will march up Market Street.
