An officer arrested a suspect lurking in a citizen’s garage doorway after a violent struggle.

Officers located and arrested a subject that had robbed the victim of his cell phone.
Theft, April 26, 11:34 a.m., 3700 Block of 18th St.
An officer elicited a confession and then arrested a former student who had stolen a teacher’s purse and I-touch.
Auto Burglary, April 26, 7:10 p.m. 18th & Diamond Streets
The victim saw the auto burglar inside his car. The burglar tried to run away but he was chased by witnesses and held until officers arrived and took custody of him.
