May 5, 7:15 a.m., Twin Peaks Area, Burglary and Forcible Rape of a Juvenile
A juvenile victim was getting ready for school when she heard noises by the front door area of her residence. She thought it was her Dad returning home. She then heard noises from inside the apartment and saw two men enter her bedroom.

The suspects attacked the victim, disrobing and restraining her as both men committed sexual assault. The suspects then proceed to ransack the apartment and leave. The victim managed to call a friend, who, in turn called the police. Officers arrived, finding the victim partially clad and restrained.

May 8, 1:30 a.m., 100 Block of Ord Street, Residential Burglary, Arrest of Parolee
The victim went to walk his dog and left the main door to his flat unlocked but locked the main metal security gate. Upon returning home, the victim heard someone inside his flat.

He entered his residence and saw his computer lying at the top of the stairs. The victim saw the suspect run down the hallway, out the back of the building and flee across backyards.

The victim called police and gave a description of the suspect. Officers apprehended the suspect, who was on parole, and found other property belonging to the victim.

May 12, 5:30 p.m., Grand Theft from a Person, Central Street near Fell Street
A pedestrian was walking towards USF on Central Street when a car pulled up with two adult passengers in front and two kids in the back. The passenger riding shotgun asked the pedestrian where he was going and if he wanted a ride. “Sure,” said the pedestrian.

The passenger got out and jumped in the back with the kids. As the victim prepared to enter the car, he took his backpack containing his laptop off his shoulder and reached it into the car before attempting to enter. The passenger who got in the back grabbed the backpack and the driver took off leaving the bewildered victim on the sidewalk.

The victim managed to read the license plate and called police. Officers traced the car to an address on Eddy Street where they towed it and placed it on hold for robbery.
No suspects were arrested.

May 11, 100 Block of Valencia Street, Attempted Robbery, Arrest Made
A suspect saw his vehicle was about to be towed and proceeded to punch and beat the tow truck driver, and another victim with an umbrella. The suspect was arrested.

May 9, 11:19 p.m., Market Street near Noe Street, Aggravated Assault with Vehicle, Arrest Made
The two victims were in their car when a car stopped in front of theirs and two suspects exited the car. The suspects proceeded to bang on the victims’ car. The first victim exited his vehicle in an attempt to photograph the suspect’s license plate but was partially pulled into the suspect’s car.

In attempting to help his friend, the second victim was also pulled into the suspect’s car, which dragged both victims along Market Street toward Noe Street. The suspect’s car stopped when a Muni driver pulls his vehicle in front of the suspect’s vehicle. The suspects attempted to flee but were later arrested by police officers.

May 14, 11:30 p.m., 14th Street and Divisadero Street, Armed Robbery
The victim was walking down the street and was approached by a man holding a gun. The suspect demanded money and threatened the victim. The victim handed over a sum of cash and was told to run. He reported the incident to police the next day.

May 15, 5:32 p.m., 1100 Block of Sanchez Street, Domestic Violence
Officers responded to a report of domestic violence. On arrival the victim stated that she and her boyfriend had an argument that became violent when he threw a drinking glass at her. The victim said the suspect also pushed her to the floor and chocked her repeatedly. The suspect was taken into custody.

May 15, 5:21 a.m., 17th Street at Hoff Street, Possession of Cocaine Base and Resisting Arrest
Patrol officers witnessed a known drug offender on parole engaging in suspicious activity. Officers approached the suspect to conduct a search. The suspect attempted to flee when officers requested to see inside his mouth. He was apprehended and officers retrieved an individually wrapped piece of rock cocaine out of the suspect’s mouth.
