Diabetes Support Group: Thursday, Jan. 14, 6-8 p.m. Listen to an expert speaker then participate in a group discussion facilitated by a certified diabetes educator. Open to people with type 1 or 2, pre-diabetes and their family/support. This month, Registered Dietitian and Certified Diabetes Educator Rozane Gee will do a presentation on "Supermarket Savvy for the Person with Diabetes." California Pacific Medical Center (CPMC). Birding the Hill: Friday, Jan. 15, 8 a.m. Come to Corona Heights Park to learn more about its avian inhabitants. The two-hour walk involves climbing a steep path and several stairs. Randall Museum Public Meeting: Tuesday, Jan. 19, 7 p.m. Randall Museum Friends is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing support to the Randall Museum. Keith Hennessy’s “A Queer 20th Anniversary”: Jan. 15-31. Keith Hennessy’s A Queer 20th Anniversary celebrates the 20th anniversary of Hennessy’s coming out solo performance “Saliva,” with a full season of events including performances, publications, and a queer performance marathon. The performances will be complimented by both teaching and archive projects. “How to Die” will run Jan. 15-17 featuring performances by Keith Hennessy with Jules Beckman & Seth Eisen. “Crotch” West Coast Premiere runs Jan. 29-31. Snap/Shot: 99 Years of Looking Fabulous – Exhibition of photographs that were donated to the San Francisco Public Library by LGBT community members. Copied from treasured albums, old storage boxes and digital camera sticks, these photographs depict deeply personal moments with friends and family, as well as larger historical events, such as the Gay Pride Parade, the AIDS epidemic, and gay marriages. LGBT Sangha - Weekly Buddhist Meditation Group:  Every Monday, 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. All are welcome for a half-hour of silent meditation (with instruction if requested), followed by a Dharma talk given by a guest speaker. LGBT Center, 1800 Market St., Room 300.
