Keith Hennessy & Circo Zero’s Sol niger: Wednesday – Saturday, Jan. 16-19 and Jan. 23-26., 8 p.m. Due to popular demand, Keith Hennessy and his contemporary circus Circo Zero return for a two-week limited engagement. $25. Project Artaud Theatre, 450 Florida St. at 17th Street.

AIDA: Friday – Sunday, Jan. 18-20, 7:30 p.m. and an additional 1 p.m. showing on Sunday. Musical Theatre Works presents the smash-hit musical based on Verdi’s opera of the same name with music by Elton John and lyrics by Tim Rice. This story follows the trials of an African princess enslaved by her Egyptian captors. Randall Theater 199 Museum Way.

“Ohlone to Yuppie”: Wednesday, Jan. 23, Doors open at 7 p.m. SF Historical Society presents guest speaker Bob Bardell who will talk about the story of five historic neighborhoods near the Presidio. $5 admission for non-members. Screening of Citizen Kane: Friday, Feb. 1, 6:30 p.m. Cine/Club at the Randall Museum invites students and adults alike to a series of free screenings, to be followed by group discussions exploring the history and depth of classic films.
