Dec. 29, 1:44 a.m., Dolores and 18th Streets, Malicious Mischief
A witness called the police after seeing three suspects smashing a windshield of a parked vehicle. The witness was able to identify the suspects and arrests were made at the scene.

Dec. 28, 2:50 a.m., Church and Market Streets, Robbery
The victim was walking down the street when he was approached by two suspects who stepped in front of him and demanded his money. The suspects punched the victim several times, causing him to fall to the ground. The suspects stole money from the victim’s pockets before fleeing the scene. No arrests have been made.

Dec. 28, 12:00 a.m., 700 Block of Diamond Street, Burglary, Forcible Entry
A church was locked and secured when the suspect used a pry bar to gain entry, causing damage to the doors. A window and donation drop box was also damaged. The suspect did not get any money, as the drop box was empty at the time. No arrest has been made.

Dec. 27, 12:50 a.m., 4100 Block of 25th Street, Vehicular Burglary
Witnesses called the police after witnessing a suspect break into a vehicle and steal the car stereo and other property. With the aide of witnesses, the police were able to identify and arrest the suspect.

Dec. 27, 1:57 a.m., 17th & Valencia Streets, Aggravated Assault
The police responded to a call that two males were fighting in the street. One suspect hit the other male in the head with a bicycle lock during the physical altercation. After an investigation an arrest was made.

Dec. 23, 10:14 p.m., 100 Block of Julian Street, Attempted Vehicular Burglary
A witness called the police after seeing a suspect break into a vehicle. The police arrived on the scene and detained the suspect who had damaged the vehicle. The suspect was on probation and was placed under arrest.

Dec. 22, 9:38 p.m., 4300 Block of 26th Street, Residential Burglary
The police responded to a call made by neighbors who saw the victim’s lights on and garage door open though it appeared no one was home. Upon arrival the officers determined that the suspect entered the residence through a shattered rear window and exited via the garage door. The police could not immediately reach the victim. No arrest has been made.

Nov. 30, 9:16 p.m., Twin Peaks Viewpoint, Narcotic Use, Arrest Warrant
Two plainclothes police officers were patrolling Twin Peaks Viewpoint when they observed a car that appeared to be full of smoke. The occupants appeared to be smoking a marijuana cigarette.
When the officers approached the vehicle, the driver rolled down the window and the officers spelled marijuana. The officers asked the passenger for identification and the suspect stated he was on parole. A records check revealed a no bail arrest warrant for the passenger. The passenger was placed under arrest.

Nov. 20, 6:40 p.m., Market & Diamond Streets, Robbery
A female victim was using her cell phone when a suspect grabbed it from behind and fled the scene. No arrest has been made.

Nov. 22, 12:16 a.m., Castro & 18th Streets, Arrest Warrant
A person waiting outside a business flagged down two police officers on patrol. The victim told the officers the suspect standing behind him was asking odd questions. The officers approached the suspect and after a preliminary conversation determined the suspect was on parole with an outstanding warrant.
