FIRST Lego League Robotic Challenge: Sunday, Dec. 9, 9:45 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Watch students compete in the qualifying tournament put on by the Randall Museum in cooperation with the FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) Lego League in a challenge to use robotics to solve pressing contemporary problems. Upper Market Workshop Series and Design Plan Community Workshop #3: Monday, Dec. 10, 6 – 9 p.m. The SF Planning Department and MIG Consultants host. The final meeting will be an opportunity for community members to affirm the community design framework that was created during the first two community meetings. The meeting will also include activities that will address how the public space recommendations and new development guidelines of the design strategy should be applied to the Upper Market Street Corridor.
